And I also have a balcony garden... LOL 14Feb2021

My green thumb seems to be improving. I have planted some herbs in my balcony sill. It is a common practice in the place I stay to have grills on the balcony. it is a security cum storage place used by people. it is also a place where we keep our potted plants.

And I have kept some of them. Namely, Tulsi, Aloe vera.... I have had Aloe Vera for some time now. But all the Tulsi saplings that I bought from the local nursery just did not survive. Well, I did not look after it right. And then I brought some from my farmland. And planted them the right way. They did give some jitters the first few days. But today they are happy and healthy.. atleast they look the part. And hence the green thumb line.

I have recently added Celery to the mix. Celery is part of a trial as I am trying to grow the same for store bought celery. Kept the roots in water till the leaves sprouted and now have planted the same into a pot.

I am also growing some mint. Again mint were store bought. I selected 4 decent stalks and stripped out the leaves from the lower portion of the same. Planted them in a pot. The soil had to be prepared. I mixed couple of cups (kullad in which tea is served in shops) of cow-dung (Amazon bought) to enrich it. This was done for both Celery and Mint. 3 of the 4 stalks have shown life and growth. One did not survive.

I have also planted couple of medicinal plant (Siam Garden Panfuti/Bryophyllum Pinnatum/Miracle Leaf Plant/Patharchatta Kidney Stone Medicinal Ayurvedic Plant). I will keep the updates here.
